I remember seeing this like 2 years ago on tumblr and I wanted my room to be this exactly and still do. Time to put my room design ideas back in action.

and so much better! Talk to the trees and the birds and the plants, they’ll listen more than a human will
okay woah there I’m all for appreciating nature because nature is great but don’t compare it to therapy
some people are actually sick or struggling and they need help or diagnosis or treatment and what they need is actual medical advice and not sitting next to a tree
some problems can be fixed by going out and relaxing for a while but holy shit some of them can’t and it’s just rude to trivialize mental health like this
It’s not about sitting with trees but removing yourself from an environment that is unnatural and stress inducing, aka, the world we live in. In nature there is natural harmony and abundance and this is disrupted in our stress filled society with warped values. I think talking to someone and releasing this issues, getting advice, a human to human connection is extremely important, but coming back to our natural environment can do wonders if in the right frame of mind, much more than any medication.
parents who try to shelter their children from every little thing that could possibly corrupt them are going to have some fucked up kids

And at that moment, the foundation of that entire meme became something like this:
